Our home on the road

Our home on the road is a 2005 Lance Truck Camper with one slide out, mounted on the back of our Ford F350 dual wheel truck. The camper has a full bathroom with shower, a small kitchen with stove, microwave, sink and fridge, a dining area and a queen size bed. The camper is about 30 feet long and has plenty of room for us. We have our flat screen TV and music system. We will also have our bikes and grill with us, along with any other toys we might need. Having this truck and camper system allows us to travel off-road and camp in places that are otherwise inaccessible.

Notre "camper" est tres confortable. Cuisine equipee (frigo, congelateur, four micro-onde) ,salle de bain avec douche, couchette avec tele ecran plat, systeme stereo etc.. on voyage aussi avec 4 velos, deux velos de route et deux vtt. 7 metres de longueur nous permet de passer partout.

Preparations!

Hello, all. It is almost April 2010, and we are preparing for our summer travel season. The plan is to leave Florida, head west toward the great national parks, then north through Utah to visit friends there, west to the San Juan Islands to visit friends there, and then NORTH to Alaska for the rest of the summer. Christian is working on our truck and truck camper - adding storage areas, auxillary gas tanks and new tires. We are reading our literature, checking the internet, making our reservations and interviewing friends who have traveled to Alaska. We are very excited, and anxious to get started! More later.

Chers amis. Nous voila presque en avril et en grande preparation pour notre voyage en Alaska. On pense quitter la Floride fin avril, direction Parcs nationaux au sud-ouest des USA puis direction nord-ouest vers Seattle, iles St Juan afin de rendre visite a des amis. En juin, cap vers le grand nord, l'Alaska ou nous comptons y passer l'ete. Nous sommes heureux de pouvoir partager notre voyage avec vous.
